History

MKM Trucking, the original name, began operations in 1981 delivering to 26 retail stores along the East coast. Founder and President William J. Hurley had a vision of revolutionizing the trucking industry. His vision was simple and clear: start a new trucking company that could dedicate itself to its entire customer's logistics needs. From store deliveries to warehousing to product manipulation, to it's newest division that provides e-commerce solutions, MKM has developed innovative solutions to solve all of their client's needs. This promise to dedicated customer service has allowed MKMs customers to solve their problems quickly and focus their energies on their primary responsibility - company growth.

Our Team

MKM management staff has combined logistic experience of over 100 years and has won numerous awards over the years. Our company is headquartered in Indianapolis with additional facilities located throughout the Midwest, Southern and Eastern United States to provide convenient hubs for on-time deliveries 100% of the time.

William J. Hurley, CEO

William Hurley, whose background is in merchandising and logistics, has thirty five years of retail experience. He has held numerous executive positions for such companies as Casual Corner and US Shoe Corporation. Prior to joining MKM in 1981, Bill was Vice President with Stride Rite.

Jerry Fields, President

Jerry Fields joined MKM in 2004 as Vice President of Operations. He was promoted to Chief Operating Officer and then to his current role of President. Jerry's background includes 20 year of U.S. Military Service in Operations and Logistics. After leaving the military, Jerry continued his career in distribution and logistics for such companies as Golden Books, Barnes and Noble and Roche Diagnostics. Jerry holds a Masters Degree in Computer and Information Resources and a Bachelors Degree in management.

Maeghan Ioannacci, Vice President of Human Resources

Maeghan joined MKM as Vice President of Human Resources in 2006. Prior to joining MKM, she served as an Assistant Prosecutor in Newark, New Jersey. Maeghan earned her bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Political Science from Indiana University and her Juris Doctorate from Syracuse University. She has passed the bar in both New York and New Jersey.

William Mancuso, Vice President of Business Development

Bill Mancuso joined MKM in 2009. Prior to joining MKM, he held multiple high level positions with Charming Shoppes, Inc. progressing from General Manager to Vice President. Bill has more than 30 years of experience successfully solving organizational and operational issues, building customer confidence while producing results. He is recognized for his ability to produce outstanding results by building an open, participative and trusting culture.

Chris Long, Vice President of Security and I.T.

Chris Long serves as our Vice President of IT & Security. Chris has been with MKM since 1999 managing IT, security and engineering. Chris has witnessed the company grow from a dozen computers to several hundred in the past few years. He has a B.A. in Business Management and holds certifications in IT from Microsoft (MCSE), CompTIA (Net+) and Dell (DDET). Chris maintains security credentials from ISC2 (CISSP), IFPO (CPO), FEMA and Dept. of Homeland Security. In 2009, Chris earned the Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designation from ASIS International which is regarded as the highest credential in security management and one of only 23 in the State of Indiana.

Tanya Dodson, Vice President of Customer Fulfillment

Tanya Dodson is the Vice President of Customer Fulfillment and joined MKM in 2006. She has a B.S. from Purdue University in Organizational Leadership and Supervision. Tanya has over 15 years experience in retail and 9 years of management experience in distribution and transportation.
